Discuss America's origins at a special event book club discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 9th at 4pm!

The Klamath County Museum will be discussing 1776 by David McCullough. The book covers the start of the American Revolutionary War, focusing particularly on military actions and the leadership (and indecisiveness) of George Washington during the opening events of the conflict.

We wrap up a summer of special guests at the downtown Klamath County Library with a fan favorite: the Big Truck Expo! Get up close and personal with the vehicles that make Klamath Falls go on Wednesday, August 19th at 10:30 am.

From municipal vehicles like fire trucks, ambulances and police cruisers to construction equipment like dump trucks, graders and excavators, there's something for everyone! 

Did you know there are over 500 kinds of bee that live in Oregon? From honey bees and fuzzy bumblebees to solitary longhorn bees and metallic green leaf-cutter bees, our state is host to a shockingly diverse variety!

The local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is back with another Time Travel Craft at the downtown Klamath County Library!

On Thursday, August 27th at 5:30pm, we'll be braiding cord with a lucet – a two-pronged tool that knits a tube-shaped cord from yarn that you wrap around its prongs.
