Volunteer at the Library

Volunteers enhance and support the library's mission. Examples of volunteer duties/positions include:

  • Serving refreshments at library events
  • Helping our Youth Services staff prepare crafts
  • Running CDs and DVDs through a cleaning/repair machine
  • Assisting patrons with computer/technology questions
  • Assisting the library or its support boards in fundraising campaigns

Volunteers are placed as needed. You can apply using our online form, or fill out an application at your local library. If you are interested in volunteering at the Bookie Joint, please download and print the Bookie Joint Volunteer Application or visit the Bookie Joint to pick up a hard copy.

Serve on the Library Advisory Board

Library Advisory Board members advise the Library Director and Library Board (the Klamath County Board of Commissioners) in establishing policy and in planning and developing program services for the Klamath County Library Service District.
