Due to winter storm and road conditions, all Klamath County Libraries will be closing at 5pm on Wednesday, November 20th. Programs scheduled for this Wednesday afternoon and evening (Tween Hangout Time and Puzzlepalooza) are cancelled.
Puzzlepalooza will be rescheduled to Tuesday, December 3rd, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.
Branches in Bly, Bonanza, Chiloquin, and Sprague River are closed today due to the weather.
Teen Awards
Edwards Award – The Margaret A. Edwards Award recognizes an author's work in helping adolescents become aware of themselves and their role in the world.
Alex Award – The Alex Awards are given to 10 books each year that are "written for adults," and teens 12-18 also enjoy.
Printz Award – The Michael L. Printz Award is given to a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature.
