Friends of the Klamath County Library

The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

The Friends promote reading and supplement the library's budget. The Friends of the Library is a Blue Zones supporting organization.

As stated in our bylaws the purpose of this organization shall be to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association's Bill of Rights. And to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention on this library, to stimulate the use of its resources and services, to receive and encourage gifts as well as endowments and bequests, to provide support and cooperation in developing its services and facilities for the community.

The Friends meet quarterly, on the 3rd Wednesday of September, January, March, and June at 2PM in the library.

  • Individuals - $10 Annually
  • Families - $20 Annually
  • Life membership - $100
  • Corporate membership - $200 Annually
