Real Reads Book Group: The Will to Change

Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

The group will be discussing The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity and Love by bell hooks on Saturday, May 4th at 3pm.

Adult Board Game Night

Join us for a variety of adult board and card games!

Build a beautiful tile mosaic in Azul, become a train magnate in Ticket to Ride, win a magical fight in Dungeon Brawl and much more! (Feel free to bring your favorite game to share – aim for something you can teach a table of 3-6 players in an hour or so at most.)

For more information, call 541-882-8894, or visit the downtown library’s Information & Reference desk.

Poetry: Food for the Soul

Celebrate National Poetry Month with local poetry guild The Spoken Word! Members will perform selections of their work on Sunday, April 21st from 2 pm to 4 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Along with presenting a variety of poetry styles, Spoken Word poets will also discuss their creative process, to give insight into the various ways a poem can be born.
