Library Advisory Board

The Library Advisory Board meets at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend. 

The Board is meeting both online and in person. If you would like to attend in person, please call the library at 541-882-8894 ahead of your visit. If you would like to attend via Zoom teleconferencing, please email Library Director Nathalie Johnston at njohnston@klamathlibrary.org to request a video link.

Social Justice Book Group: They Called Us Enemy

Tackle a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles on the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. You can get this month's book – They Called Us Enemy by George Takei – at the downtown library's Information & Reference desk.

Foreign Film Night: Happening

A French woman must defy the law to complete her education in Happening, screening at the downtown Klamath County Library on Tuesday, December 13th at 5:30 pm. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Annie Ernaux.

Romance Readers Book Group: Winter Street

Discuss your favorite meet-cutes, plot tropes and relationship dynamics with fellow romance lovers on the first Thursday of the month at 3pm! Pick up this month's book – Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand – at the downtown library's Information & Reference desk.

Closure - Christmas

All branches of the Klamath County Library District will be closed on Sunday, December 25th and Monday, December 26th in observance of Christmas. 

No library materials will be due on a day that the libraries are closed for a holiday.
