Unnatural Causes Screening & Discussion Part One: In Sickness and In Wealth

The downtown Klamath County Library is hosting a four-part documentary series on the root causes of health inequality on Sundays in January at 2pm.

The PBS documentary Unnatural Causes examines data that finds there’s more to your health than your individual choices, or even your genes. Where you are born, live, and work can have as much an impact on your overall health as germs and viruses.

Beekeeping 101

There might be snow still on the ground, but winter is a great time to make plans for your 2023 garden! Learn all about bees and how you can get started in backyard beekeeping on Wednesday, January 11th at 6 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Adult Writers Group

After a couple years’ hiatus, the creative writers group for adults is back at the downtown Klamath County Library! The revamped group will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm starting Wednesday, January 4th, and it’s open to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills in a positive environment. No previous writing experience necessary!
