The Book to Film Book Group reads books that got adapted into movies, and gathers to watch the film adaptation on the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm.
Tackle a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles on the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. You can get this month's book – Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond – at the downtown library's Information & Reference desk.

The Library Advisory Board meets at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm. (The Society also has a sub-group, focused on using DNA data in genealogy research, which meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm.)
The general public is always welcome to join in at both meetings.
