Book Swap Ticket Period

Exchange your child’s gently-used books for new stories with the Klamath County Library’s Big Book Swap!

Bring in books for babies, kids and teens to the downtown Klamath County Library from Wednesday, June 1st to Thursday, June 16th. (Fiction, nonfiction, board books and graphic novels are all welcome, but no heavily-damaged items or “writeable” items like workbooks or coloring books, please.) For each item you bring in, you’ll get a ticket to use at the Book Swap on Saturday, June 18th from 11 am to 4 pm!

Love Our Library Week

February 13th through 19th is Love Our Library week at the Klamath County Libraries!

Now as always in our history, reading is among our greatest freedoms. We believe that librarians have a profound responsibility to give validity to that freedom to read by making it possible for the readers to choose freely from a variety of offerings.

Teen Poetry Contest

The downtown Klamath County Library is holding a poetry writing contest for teens in December!

From sonnets to Viking epics to minimalist haiku and rap lyrics, there are lots of ways to express yourself through poetry, and we want to see yours! The winning poet will take home a $20 gift card to a local bookstore, and their work will be featured on the library’s website and Facebook page.
