There’s lots to do at the Klamath County Library for the whole family, especially while kids are out for Spring Break! We have a variety of special events for all ages while school is out:

The downtown Klamath County Library has a packed schedule of Spring Break events for families, kids and teens! Here’s what’s on deck for teens ages 12 to 18:
Join a statewide conversation about the year’s best books for teens! The downtown Klamath County Library will be hosting a watch party for the live online Mock Printz Awards on Saturday, January 14th from noon to 4:30 pm.
Our regular lineup of youth programming is taking the last two weeks of December off (except for teen Dungeons & Dragons groups) so we can bring you some extra special activities while school’s out for winter break.
For teens 12-18:
Play with cards from “Jumpstart 2022,” the collectible card game’s newest set made specifically for beginners to the game. Everyone who plays can take home the cards they play with as well as a bonus 7-piece gaming dice set! We’ll have extra prizes for the top players. :) Total beginners welcome. Lunch and snacks included! For ages 12 and up - teens and adults alike!

Protect yourself against the latest COVID-19 variants at free vaccine clinics at the downtown Klamath Falls and South Suburban libraries!
(Unfortunately, due to supply issues, the seasonal flu vaccine will not be available at these events as previously scheduled.)
The downtown Klamath County Library is holding a “Tales of Terror” writing contest for teens in October!
If you’re the spookiest teen writer in Klamath Falls, you’ll take home a $20 gift card to a local book store. The winning story will also be featured on the library’s website and Facebook page.
Enjoy a meal (usually pizza) and chat about graphic novels on the last Thursday of every month at 5 pm! (We'll be discussing the graphic novel adaptation of Jason Reynolds’ novel Long Way Down - sign up and pick up your copy of the book at the Youth Services desk starting Thursday, September 1st.)
