Costumes enthusiastically encouraged, but please don't bring weapons or realistic toy weapons to the library – if you’re not sure, leave it at home.
Let’s play Magic: the Gathering! Bring a deck of your own or play a casual game with some of our “Jumpstart” decks. We’ll teach you to play if you’re a complete beginner - and you can keep the deck you play with! For ages 12 and up, including adults.
Kids and teens can get a whirlwind tour of the world of art, complete with hands-on projects! Join us Saturday, October 21st and Saturday, October 28th for Youth Art Class: from 1 pm to 2:30 pm for ages 6-10, and from 3 pm to 4:30 pm for ages 11-18.
Local artist and art educator Becky Ross will give an overview of major styles and techniques in art history, and will lead participants in an art project for some hands-on experience! (Each Saturday will have different projects, so you can come to both if you want to!)
