Note: The main Klamath County Library receives paper copies of federal tax forms and instructions (1040, 1040-SR and numbered schedules) for public distribution through the IRS TFOP program.
2025 update: 1/9/2025. Federal tax forms and instructions are in the process of being shipped, and should arrive at the main library in mid-January. They will be available at the Reference Desk at the main library, and limited quantities will be sent out to branch libraries.
The State of Oregon does not send any paper copies of tax forms or booklets to the library. Please visit the Oregon Department of Revenue page to locate and download Oregon forms.
NEW THIS YEAR: The Oregon Department of Revenue will be visiting some Oregon libraries to provide tax preparation assistance to low-income taxpayers. In Klamath County, this will be a one-day event at the main library from 10am to 8pm on Wednesday, February 12th. More information will be available on our website soon. See more information about this program.
Download the IRS2Go App from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Amazon Kindle App Store for federal tax filing and information options on your mobile device.
In addition to electronic filing options, the IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue (and other states) post tax forms online. Forms and publications may be accessed at the links below.
In general, forms may be printed at our libraries (self-service from public computers or by asking library staff at the reference desk) for 10 cents per page. Print jobs for full copies of large publications may be denied depending on volume. Please ask library staff if you need assistance in printing or locating forms, but note that we are prohibited from giving tax advice.
