Are you not entertained? Comedian/stuntman Matt Baker – the latest act in the Klamath County Libraries’ Summer Performance Series – will do pretty much anything to make you laugh.
He’ll be touring the following Klamath County Library Service District locations:
- Bonanza – 31703 Hwy 70 – Tuesday, August 1st at 10:30 am
- Bly – 61100 Metler St. – Tuesday, August 1st at 2 pm
- Downtown Klamath Falls – 126 S. 3rd St – Wednesday, August 2nd at 10:30 am.
- Performances at the downtown library will take place outdoors; bring a chair or blanket to sit on!
- After the show – Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm – stop by the grass between the library and the Klamath County courthouse for free lunch, provided by Integral Youth Services.
- Merrill – 365 West Front St. – Wednesday, August 2nd at 2 pm
Baker has brought his unique mix of comedy and juggling to The Late Late Show with James Cordon, Tosh.0, America’s Got Talent, and Last Comic Standing. On top of that, Baker boasts 5 Guinness World Records – including “most bowling balls kicked up and caught on the forehead in 30 seconds.”
He admits his extremely specific world records are intentionally niche: “I pretty much came up with tricks that no one is dumb enough to try, so I will be the record holder forever,” Baker said in an article in The Oklahoman from April 2018. “I'm trying to develop stuff that's unique, that no one's ever seen. The problem is I also do jokes, so the trick not only has to be interesting and entertaining to the audience but also has to have some comic value to it. ... It has to be a balance, so I come up with as much weird stuff as I can.”
This event is for all ages, but those under 10 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, please.
