Foreign Film Night: The Zoya Factor

United States

A young woman, born on the day India won its first Cricket World Cup, becomes the national team’s lucky charm in The Zoya Factor, screening at the downtown Klamath County on Tuesday, November 9th at 5:30 pm!

Based on the novel of the same name by Anuja Chauhan, this Indian romantic comedy follows advertising executive Zoya – the human “good luck charm” – and team captain Nikhil, who is attracted to Zoya but is annoyed that Zoya is getting all the credit for the team’s successes. As the Indian national team’s wins pile up in their pursuit of the Cricket World Cup – and the media frenzy around Zoya’s lucky presence intensifies – can the team (and Zoya’s love life) overcome the pressure?

The Zoya Factor is unrated, in Hindi with English subtitles, and runs for 2 hours, 14 minutes.
