Foreign Film Night: The Worst Person in the World

United States

A young woman searches for love and meaning in The Worst Person in the World, a fantastical Norwegian “dramedy” screening at the downtown Klamath County Library on Tuesday, July 12th at 5:30 pm.

Oslo university student Julie easily whirls through both cool jobs and adoring boyfriends, but privilege is little help when you don’t really know what you want. Should she pursue a life as a doctor? A photographer? Is her boyfriend Mr. Right, or is he just Mr. Right Now? Presented in chapter-like vignettes, Julie’s life plays out in a series of self-aware and genre-bending sequences as she faces her thirties and wonders if there’s really any meaning to it all...

The Worst Person in the World is unrated, in Norwegian with English subtitles, and runs for 2 hours, 8 minutes.
