Join us at the downtown Klamath County Library for a screening of the Danish historical drama Godland on Thursday, May 9th at 5:30pm!
Set in the late 19th century, Godland follows Lucas, a Danish priest tasked with traveling to a remote part of Iceland (which was at the time a Danish colonial territory) and building a church there. Not an Icelandic speaker, Lucas must rely on his translator as he travels through the forbidding landscape. Not only is the land hostile to Lucas’ arrival, but the people are, too…
