Book to Film: Beautiful Boy

United States

Book to Film meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm to watch films based on books and discuss both the book and the movie. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.

We'll be discussing the memoir Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction by David Scheff and the book's 2018 film adaptation, Beautiful Boy, on Wednesday, March 30th at 5:30pm. (The film is rated R and runs for 2 hours.)

(You might also enjoy Nic Sheff's side of the story with his memoir, Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines, which is available at the Sprague River Branch Library and as an ebook through Library2Go. Ask at your local library to have it delivered to your location.)
