February 13th through 19th is Love Our Library week at the Klamath County Libraries!
Now as always in our history, reading is among our greatest freedoms. We believe that librarians have a profound responsibility to give validity to that freedom to read by making it possible for the readers to choose freely from a variety of offerings.

The downtown Klamath County Library is holding a Minecraft build contest for kids and teens in November!
We want to see your coolest, most tricked-out secret forts. (Thoughtful décor? Awesome! Devious traps? Rad!) We’ll be judging entries in three age categories: Ages 5 to 8, Ages 9 to 12, and Ages 13-18. Winners in each category will win a $20 gift card to a local gaming shop.
April is Dinosaur Month at the Klamath County libraries! RAWR! Celebrate the mighty beasts of prehistory!
Starting Monday, April 5th: Oregon’s Dino-Story! Through a pilot partnership with the University of Oregon’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History (MNCH), all Klamath County Libraries will get a hands-on science kit detailing Oregon’s prehistoric creatures, while supplies last. For ages 5-12.

We've got a fun craft for kids ages 5-9!
Join us for a fun project for ages 10-19!
Join our Ukulele Club on the second Tuesday of the month! This monthly event is for adults and teens. Folks interested in beginner lessons should arrive at 5:30 pm; a general jam session for all skill levels starts at 6 pm.
This is a fun, welcoming club for strummers of all levels! Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned uke enthusiast, you’re invited to come make music with us. We’ll meet monthly at the library for a casual jam session led by a song leader, with chords and lyrics displayed on the big screen so you can follow along—no textbooks required!
Learn computer science and coding by commanding the Finch mini robot at a hands-on workshop on Sunday, April 19th from 1pm to 3pm! This event is for ages 6-12.
If you’ve attended our Finch workshops in the past, we’ll have new projects to work on; if this is your first robotics event, we’ll guide you through making the Finch robot do its thing.
