Shelter Information as of Monday, August 10
For People and Small Animals:
- Red Cross emergency shelter is open at Chiloquin Elementary School, 548 S 2nd Ave in Chiloquin
- Red Cross emergency shelter is open at Living Springs Fellowship, 31897 Mission St in Bonanza
For Large Animals:
- The Klamath County Fairgrounds is available to shelter large livestock. Individuals seeking shelter assistance for cattle should contact Maria Meister, Southern Oregon Emergency Aid (SOEA) at 831-235-3031.
Library Closures and Changes
- Sprague River Branch Library is closed from Tuesday, August 11th until further notice. The Thursday Summer Reading event with Badger Run Wildlife Rehab is canceled.
