The Creature Teachers animal ambassadors are back! The scaly, slithery critters (and their human friends) are returning to Klamath County Libraries for our Summer Reading Program Performance Series.

The Creature Teachers are on a mission to educate through up-close-and-personal encounters with live animals, aiming to dispel the fear that some have toward reptiles, spiders, and other “creepy crawlies.” You can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pg/CreatureTeachersOregon.

We are sorry that we haven’t been able to keep our Chemult Branch Library open scheduled hours this spring and summer. The regular branch position is still open, and substitute staff haven’t always been available. But we will be open this Thursday, June 30^th at 11am that day we’ll have a Messy Art program for kids and teens. As part of the library’s commitment to bring programs to all of our branches, David from the main library’s Youth Services Department will be bringing tables and supplies for handprint painting, slime-making and more.
