Real Reads Book Group: Children of the Land

Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

The group will be discussing Children of the Land by Marcelo Hernandez Castillo on Saturday, March 2nd at 3pm.

Join us for a screening & discussion for the HBO documentary A Tree of Life on Thursday, February 29th at 5:30 pm!

A Tree of Life examines the impact and aftermath of the 2018 mass shooting at Tree of Life – Or L’Simcha Congregation, a Jewish synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Eleven people were killed and seven were injured, making the shooting the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States.
