Baby/Toddler Sleep Seminar

Get tips on how to get your little ones to sleep in a seminar on Monday, August 4th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Emma Byrd Harding -- a certified pediatric sleep consultant who knows what it's like to be a sleep-deprived new mom -- will give you strategies to help you and your child rest, whether they're a newborn in a crib or a toddler with a big-kid bed (who's sometimes stubborn about bedtime). Harding operates her company, Baby Byrd Sleep Consulting, in Klamath Falls.

Mystery Readers Book Group: Murder with Macaroni and Cheese

The Mystery Readers Book Group is the perfect book club if you love a good mystery! The group will be reading a wide range of mysteries – from cozy whodunits to fast-paced thrillers to true crime. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 4pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

We'll be discussing Murder with Macaroni and Cheese by A.L. Herbert on Thursday, August 21st at 4pm. 

Klamath Basin Genealogical Society - DNA Interest Group

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society DNA Interest Group, which focuses on using DNA data in genealogy research, meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm.

The full Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm.

The general public is always welcome to join in.

Adult Writers Group

The Adult Writers Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 2pm, and it’s open to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills in a positive environment. No previous writing experience necessary!

We’ll have writing prompts and discussion to get you going, and feel free to bring in something you’re working on to workshop with the group.

Sky Lakes family medicine physician Dr. Stewart Decker is back for another jargon-free discussion on health issues! This month will cover causes and treatments for headaches, plus a town-hall-style “patient Q&A” of general questions. (The Q&A is also a great time to suggest future Doc Talk topics!) Like our Lay Person Legal presenters, Dr. Decker’s ability to comment on your specific condition is limited.
