Closure - Thanksgiving

All Klamath County libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving. No library materials will be due that day.

Full-time staff will also be out of the office on Friday, November 29th as well, which may cause some regular events to be canceled. Check with your local library branch for the most up-to-date news on events happening Thanksgiving week.

Klamath Basin Genealogical Society - DNA Interest Group

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society DNA Interest Group, which focuses on using DNA data in genealogy research, meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. The full Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm.

The general public is always welcome to join in.

For more help with your genealogy research, see our genealogy page.

Real Reads Book Group: The Undertow

Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Saturday of the month at 3pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

The group will be discussing The Undertow: Scenes from a Slow Civil War by Jeff Sharlet on Saturday, November 2nd at 3pm

Adult Dungeons & Dragons

Join us for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign for adults!

We have multiple groups of adventurers that meet online on Tuesdays or Fridays from 6pm to 8pm, depending on the campaign.

We game online using a combination of three free apps: Roll20, a private Discord server and D&D Beyond.

No previous roleplaying experience needed! We welcome all players. (And if you need help installing any of the apps, we can get you going there, too.)
