Real Reads Book Group: The Light Eaters

United States

Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Saturday of the month at 3pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

The group will be discussing The Light Eaters: How the Unseen World of Plant Intelligence Offers a New Understanding of Life on Earth by Zoë Schlanger on Saturday, July 11th at 3pm. (Note that this is the second Saturday of the month, due to the Fourth of July holiday closure.)

You can pick up a copy of the book at the downtown library's Information & Reference Desk. (It's also available as an ebook or audiobook via Hoopla.)

If you'd like a copy delivered to a branch library, call the Reference Desk at (541) 882-8894 ext. 18.
