Spend your time off from school at the library! We have lots to do for the whole family:
- All Ages: Crafts with Santa – Monday, December 23rd from 2 pm to 4 pm. Share your holiday wish list with Jolly Old Saint Nick, and stick around for some festive decoration-making!
- All Ages: Family Movie: The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause – Tuesday, December 24th at 2pm. Scott Calvin (Tim Allen), who took on the mantle of Santa Claus twelve years ago, gets tricked by the mischievous Jack Frost (Martin Short), who manipulates Scott into magically reversing the events of the original Santa Clause film, making Frost the “new Santa.” With Jack Frost in charge, there are no more gift deliveries, the elves are miserable, the reindeer are grounded, and naughty children can buy their way onto the Nice List! Can Scott use the Escape Clause magic on Jack and put everything back the way it should be…? The film is rated G and runs for 1 hour, 32 minutes.
- Ages 12 and up: Magic: the Gathering Chaos Draft Tournament – Thursday, December 26th from 2 pm to 7:30 pm. Anything can happen with a draft made from random booster packs! Build a deck from the cards we open, which is yours to keep! The tournament’s top players will also take home fabulous prizes. Space is limited! [The draft is only open to teen players; adult players are welcome to hang out, but we’ll probably be playing Commander or something.]
- Ages 6-12: Winter Fun & Games – Thursday, December 26th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Join us for silly holiday fun!
- Ages 5-12: Kids Wii Time – Friday, December 27th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Play video game classics on the library’s Nintendo Wii!
- Ages 12 and under: Snowflake Crafts – Monday, December 30th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Whether simple or complex, every snowflake is as unique as the person who cut it out.
- Ages 5-12: Family Board Games & Holiday Treats – Tuesday, December 31st from 2 pm to 4 pm. Gather ‘round for some family-favorite board games and tasty snacks!
