Spend your time off from school at the library! We have lots to do for the whole family:
- Ages 6-12: Kids Wii Play – Monday, December 18th from 2 pm to 4 pm and Thursday, December 28th from 1 pm to 3 pm. Play video game classics on the library’s Nintendo Wii!
- Ages 2-5: Winter Fun & Games – Tuesday, December 19th and Tuesday, December 26th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Join us for silly holiday fun!
- Ages 5-12: Tweens & Cubs Christmas Card Workshop – Wednesday, December 20th from 4 pm to 6 pm. There’s nothing quite like a holiday card handmade by your child – and nothing better than having that child use glitter at someone else’s place!
- All Ages: Snowflake Workshop – Thursday, December 21st from 1 pm to 3 pm. Whether simple or complex, every snowflake is as unique as the person who cut it out. We’ve got projects for all ages and crafting skill levels.
- Ages 12-18: Anime & Macrame – Thursday, December 21st from 3 pm to 5 pm. Watch your favorite shows while tying up some nifty rope art!
- All Ages: How the Grinch Stole Christmas Screening – Friday, December 22nd at 1 pm. Enjoy the 2000 live-action adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s holiday favorite How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey! Rated PG for some crude humor. Runtime: 1 hour, 44 minutes.
- Ages 6-12: Family Board Games & Holiday Treats – Wednesday, December 27th from 3 pm to 5 pm. Gather ‘round for some family-favorite board games and tasty snacks!
- Ages 12 and up: Magic: the Gathering Draft Tournament – Thursday, December 28th from 2 pm to 7:30 pm. We’re cracking open a box of Magic’s latest expansion set, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, for a drafting tournament! Build a deck from the cards we open, which is yours to keep! The tournament’s top players will also take home fabulous prizes. This event is for both teens and adult players.
- All Ages: Winter Break and New Year’s Crafts – Friday, December 29th from 11 am to 1 pm. Ring in the new year with festive noisemakers and celebrate winter with seasonal crafts! For all ages.
