The Klamath County libraries’ Summer Reading Program Family Performance Series continues with music by Red Yarn! Catch lead singer Andy Furgeson and his puppet pals at the following libraries:
- Bonanza – 31703 Hwy 70 – Tuesday, August 20th at 10:30 am
- Chiloquin – 140 S. First St – Wednesday, August 21st at 2 pm
- Downtown Klamath Falls – 126 S. 3rd St – Wednesday, August 21st at 10:30 am.
- Performances at the downtown library will take place outdoors; bring a chair or blanket to sit on!
- After the show – Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm – stop by the grass between the library and the Klamath County courthouse for free lunch, provided by Integral Youth Services.
- Malin – 2307 Front St – Tuesday, August 20th at 2 pm
Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson, plus a variety of musical collaborators and an entourage of animal puppets) is a folk music band dedicated to celebrating America’s multicultural musical heritage by bringing both traditional folk music and original indie-rock compositions to audiences across the country – including big venues like Austin City Limits and South by Southwest. This performance is for all ages, but those under 10 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, please.
