SOUTH - American Bald Eagle Observations [Plus Northside Garden Club Meeting]

United States

On the last Tuesday of each month at 11am, the Northside Garden Club features a talk with either tips to help your garden and landscaping thrive, or of local environmental interest.

You don’t have to be a member to attend.

This month, Michael Kaibel will be presenting his ongoing observations of a local pair of American Bald Eagles. Kaibel has been observing the birds since 2021  – and you might be surprised at how much personality they've shown!

Kaibel is a longtime Klamath County resident, and retired from 28 years of work for the Fremont-Winema National Forest. He enjoys wildlife photography, particularly of large birds, and received the Klamath County Volunteer of the Year Award in 2010 for his work as director for the Klamath County chapter of the Hands and Words Are Not For Hurting Project.
