Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Saturday of the month at 3pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.
The group will be discussing the second half of Cadillac Desert: The American West and its Disappearing Water by Marc Reisner on Saturday, July 6th at 3pm. (Don't worry if you missed our discussion of the first half in June! Feel free to join us with your thoughts anyway.)
You can pick up a copy of the book at the downtown library's Information & Reference Desk. (It's also available immediately as a digital audiobook via Hoopla.) If you'd like your copy delivered to a branch library, call the Reference Desk at (541) 882-8894 ext. 18.
