Join us at the downtown Klamath County Library on Sunday, March 15th at 2pm for a presentation on Lake County's Lake Abert by local author Ron Larson.
The presentation will be both hosted at the downtown library and livestreamed via Zoom - contact folklamath@gmail.com for the streaming link.
Local author Ron Larson recently finished his book A Natural History of Oregon's Lake Abert in the Northwest Great Basin Landscape, an examination of Lake Abert's ecosystems and the plants and animals that make a home in them.
Larson is a biologist who worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service for two decades. He's studied Lake Abert since 2008. He also serves as a board member of the Oregon Lake's Associaation and has written extensively about human impact on Klamath Basin waterways.
This discussion is brought to you by the Friends of the Klamath County Library, who will have their quarterly business meeting after Larson is finished. You don't have to be a member of the Friends to attend. (You're welcome to join the Friends at any time, though! Check out their page for more details on how they help the library and how you can sign up.)
