Foster a Future: Resource/Foster Parent Q&A Event

United States

Curious about participating in foster care? Interested in adoption? Learn what it takes to become a certified resource parent at the “Foster a Future” Q&A event on Thursday, February 24th at 5:30 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Oregon Department of Human Services representative Anna Lowther will show you how you can prepare to help a child in need in Klamath County through foster care. A panel of current certified resource parents will be on hand to answer your questions. If you’re looking for an opportunity to better your community, there are babies, kids and teens throughout Klamath County who could use your help.

Not sure if you’re ready to make the big commitment? No worries! You won’t have to sign up for anything at the meeting. You’ll be able to take home lots of information to help you make a decision.

Please RSVP so we know how many folks to prepare for! Contact Anna Lowther at 541-850-6801 to sign up.
