Join us Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 5:30 pm for the multiple-Oscar-winning dark comedy/thriller Parasite from South Korean writer/director Bong Joon Ho.
Parasite follows the Kims, a low-income family in a shabby apartment in Seoul. Eldest son Kim Ki-Woo, dreaming of a life out of poverty, lies about his qualifications to get an English tutoring gig for a much wealthier family, the Parks. As Ki-Woo settles in, he plots with his family to gradually replace all of the Park family's staff, so they can embed themselves in the Parks' life of privilege. When the Parks' previous housekeeper discovers the Kim family's ruse and threatens to expose them, they must decide how far they're willing to go to protect the luxuries they've scammed their way into...
Parasite is rated rated R, is in Korean and English with subtitles, and runs for 2 hours, 12 minutes.
