Foreign Film Night: Holy Cow

Join us Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 5:30 pm for a screening of Holy Cow, a French coming-of-age film about a rowdy young man who schemes to win a cash prize for the best Comté cheese.

Totone's carefree life of drinking and partying takes a turn when he must suddenly provide for his 7-year-old sister after his father dies in a car accident. Seeking income, he hears about a major cash prize for a local cheese competition and aims to win with his father's cheesemaking equipment. You can't make a winning cheese without high-quality milk, though  – which leads him to a girl with a dairy farm. Can Totone distract her with romance while his friend's siphon off her milk...?

Holy Cow is unrated, in French, Spanish and English with subtitles, and runs for 1 hour, 32 minutes.
