The Aging Journey: Klamath Hospice Community Services

United States

Our The Aging Journey seminar series continues!

Staff from Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) are giving presentations on a variety of topics of interest to older folks Thursdays at 10 am at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Each presentation can be attended as a stand-alone; stop by for the topics that interest you!

Join us for:

  • Thursday, Nov. 5th: Grief and Mourning. Grief is a natural part of the human experience, but anticipatory grief can suck the joy out of the time you have before anything happens.
  • Thursday, Nov. 12th: Klamath Hospice Community Services. Whether you need hospice care or have a loved one who does, care providers are here to help you.
  • Thursday, Nov. 19th: Get Ready - The Holidays Are Here! Brace yourself, it's time to plunge into the winter holiday hustle and bustle.
  • There are only three sessions this month because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

KBBH Behavioral Health Specialists, Patricia "Patty" Card, and Kelli Bowers will show you how you and your family can prepare for challenges and celebrate triumphs as you age. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years. Bowers has worked in the field of human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon. Both currently specialize in the mental health needs of older adults.
