Our The Aging Journey seminar series continues!

Staff from Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) are giving presentations on a variety of topics of interest to older folks Thursdays at 10 am at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Each presentation can be attended as a stand-alone; stop by for the topics that interest you!

Join us for:

  • Thursday, August 6th: How to Talk to Your Doc. Learn how to talk about your needs and medical history with your care providers and specialists.
  • Thursday, August 13th: Emergency Preparedness. When disaster strikes, you can face it knowing that you've got a plan for that.
  • Thursday, August 20th: Motivation and Emotions. What keeps you going? Share your experiences with others navigating the aging journey.
  • Thursday, August 27th: Reclaiming Your Life at Any Age. It's never too late to reach for the life you want!

KBBH Behavioral Health Specialists, Patricia "Patty" Card, and Kelli Bowers will show you how you and your family can prepare for challenges and celebrate triumphs as you age. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years. Bowers has worked in the field of human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon. Both currently specialize in the mental health needs of older adults.
