Our The Aging Journey seminar series continues!
Staff from Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) are giving presentations on a variety of topics of interest to older folks Thursdays at 10 am at the downtown Klamath County Library.
Each presentation can be attended as a stand-alone; stop by for the topics that interest you!

- Thursday, July 2nd: Art and Its Positive Impacts. Art is for everyone of all ages! Learn how art can contribute to your life, even if you "can't draw a stick figure."
- Thursday, July 9th: Urinary Tract Infection Prevention. Did you know that UTIs can manifest as confusion and delirium in older adults?
- Thursday, July 16th: The Bad and the Ugly of AI. AI's ability to mimic people and institutions can enable a lot of scammers. Protect yourself!
- Thursday, July 23rd: Memory. From navigating "senior moments" to preserving family history for your loved ones, memory is a big topic for older folks!
- Thursday, July 30th: AI Made Simple. Learn to use this new technology with confidence!
KBBH Behavioral Health Specialists, Patricia "Patty" Card, and Kelli Bowers will show you how you and your family can prepare for challenges and celebrate triumphs as you age. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years. Bowers has worked in the field of human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon. Both currently specialize in the mental health needs of older adults.
