Each presentation can be attended as a stand-alone; stop by for the topics that interest you!

Join us for:

  • Thursday, May 7th: Physical Needs As We Age. Handrails, mobility aids, and other equipment help you stay independent as you get older.
  • Thursday, May 14th: How Food Impacts Our Lives. Food isn't just nutrition. Your cultural and social connection to food is just as important!
  • Thursday, May 21st: Advanced Directives. You can't tell your family how you want to be treated in a hospital if you're unconscious! Make a plan to follow in the case of an emergency.
  • Thursday, May 28th: The Bad and the Ugly of AI. Artificial Intelligence can do a lot of neat things for us, but it also enables a lot of scams. Learn how to protect yourself.

KBBH Behavioral Health Specialists, Patricia "Patty" Card, and Kelli Bowers will show you how you and your family can prepare for challenges and celebrate triumphs as you age. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years. Bowers has worked in the field of human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon. Both currently specialize in the mental health needs of older adults.
