Merrill - Children's Author Jo Ann Jeffries

Children's book author Jo Ann Jeffries will be in Merrill from 1 to 4 pm during the annual Klamath Basin Potato Festival. At 2:00, there will be a special storytime as Jo Ann reads her book Have You Seen Tucker?

Jo Ann writes:

Have You Seen Tucker’ was written after one of my cats went missing. The animals and birds in the book were from the area in Idaho that I moved to after leaving Hawaii.

Halloween Celebration

We’re BIG fans of Halloween here at the library. We’re getting festive with crafts, carnival-style games, and a screening of the 1993 Disney classic Hocus Pocus! (The film is rated PG and runs for 1 hour, 36 minutes.) Halloween enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to join in – bring the whole family!

Finch Robotics Workshop for Ages 6-12

Learn computer science and coding by commanding the Finch mini robot at a hands-on workshop on Sunday, October 6th from 1 pm to 3 pm! This event is for ages 6-12.

If you’ve attended our Finch workshops in the past, we’ll have new projects to work on; if this is your first robotics event, we’ll guide you through making the Finch robot do its thing. No previous coding experience necessary!
