Klamath Basin Genealogical Society - DNA Interest Group

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society DNA Interest Group, which focuses on using DNA data in genealogy research, meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. (The full Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm.)

The general public is always welcome to join in at both meetings.

Closure - Christmas

All branches of the Klamath County Library District will be closed on Sunday, December 25th and Monday, December 26th in observance of Christmas. 

No library materials will be due on a day that the libraries are closed for a holiday.

The Oregon Health Authority will be administering vaccines at the downtown library, 126 S. Third St., on Tuesday. November 29th from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Social Justice Book Group: Men We Reaped

Tackle a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles on the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. You can get this month's book – Men We Reaped: A Memoir by Jesmyn Ward – at the downtown library's Information & Reference desk.
