Join us for a screening of the Oscar-nominated biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood on Friday, March 22nd at 1 pm! Based on the real-life friendship between children’s TV legend Fred Rogers and journalist Lloyd Vogel, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood looks back at the impact of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Fred Rogers’ empathy and kindness. (The film is rated PG and runs for 1 hour, 49 minutes.) For all ages.

Mystery Readers Book Group: Before You Knew My Name

The Mystery Readers Book Group is the perfect book club if you love a good mystery! The group will be reading a wide range of mysteries – from cozy whodunits to fast-paced thrillers to true crime. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 4pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

The Adult Writers Group meets on the second Sunday of the month at 2pm, and it’s open to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills in a positive environment. No previous writing experience necessary!

We’ll have writing prompts and discussion to get you going, and feel free to bring in something you’re working on to workshop with the group.

Klamath Basin Genealogical Society - DNA Interest Group

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society DNA Interest Group, which focuses on using DNA data in genealogy research, meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. The full Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm.

The general public is always welcome to join in.
