Get ready for Halloween with ghost hunter Dustin Pari in an online presentation hosted by the Klamath County Library on Thursday, October 29th at 7 pm.
Pari – a regular on television programs such as SyFy’s Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and Destination Truth – will discuss the paranormal history and spooky lore of the Halloween season. (And he’d be happy to share a few of his own “ghost story” experiences, too.)
The presentation is free, but registration is required so we can send you the invite to connect via Zoom teleconferencing.
The Adult Book Club meets on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30pm. Copies of the current month's book are available at the Reference and Information Desk.
We'll be discussing Pachinko by Min Jin Lee on Thursday, November 12th at 4:30pm via Zoom. Email Charla at coppenlander@klamathlibrary.org for more information and the videoconference link.

Before Zoom meetings and instant messenger services, amateur radio connected friends and loved ones across long distances. Even in today’s modern age of high-tech gadgets, cell phones, and email, when the grid goes down, it’s often amateur radio operators who still provide emergency communications until things return to normal. Learn how you can join in the hobby at an online presentation on Thursday, October 22nd at 6 pm.
