Local poetry group Spoken Word will share a live reading of their work at the downtown Klamath County Library on Sunday, February 6^th at 2 pm.

The Klamath County libraries are kicking off the 2021 Summer Reading Program Family Performance Series with magician Stefano Iaboni!

Originally from Rome, Italy, Iaboni has performed as an actor, magician, and comedian all over the world. All branches of the Klamath County Library District will be closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of Presidents Day.

No library materials will be due on a day that the libraries are closed for a holiday.

The Library Advisory Board meets at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend. 

The Board is meeting both online and in person. If you would like to attend in person, please call the library at 541-882-8894 ahead of your visit. Book to Film meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm to watch films based on books and discuss both the book and the movie. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.

We'll be discussing the memoir Black Klansman: Race, Hate, and the Undercover Investigation of a Lifetime by Ron Stallworth and the book's Oscar-winning film adaptation, BlacKkKlansman, on Wednesday, February 23rd at 5:30pm. (The film is rated R and runs for 2 hours, 15 minutes.)
