Planting Day! Free Activities for kids of all ages!

Help us plant a new children's garden at the library and get free seeds to plant your own.

Join the Northside Garden Club on Tuesday, May 24^th at 1pm at the South Suburban Branch Library for a discussion about the impact of fire on the landscape at Lava Beds National Monument and Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge in nearby northern California.

David Hays, the Natural Resources Program Manager at Lava Beds & Tule Lake, will show how fire is a natural part of the rugged, volcanic landscape, and how the plants that thrive there have adapted to fire in various ways.

In honor of National Poetry Month, you are cordially invited to Poetry & Pie at the Keno Library.

Join us at the downtown Klamath County Library on Thursday, April 21st at 6pm for a very special livestream event with guests Monica Guzman and Jim Walls in a bridge-building conversation centered around their life experiences working across partisan divides.

Topics around death and dying are often awkward to talk about, but discussing them with your family is the best way to make sure your final wishes are followed through, and the framing of a “Death Café” can help you practice those conversations.

A couple’s lives takes a turn for the absurd in the Israeli comedy Golden Voices, screening at the downtown Klamath County Library on Tuesday, April 12^th at 5:30 pm.

Book to Film meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm to watch films based on books and discuss both the book and the movie. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.

We'll be discussing the memoir Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction by David Scheff and the book's 2018 film adaptation, Beautiful Boy, on Wednesday, March 30th at 5:30pm. (The film is rated R and runs for 2 hours.)

The Adult Book Group meets on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30pm. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.

We'll be discussing The World That We Knew by Alice Hoffman on Thursday, April 14th at 4:30pm.

All branches of the Klamath County Library District will be closed on Sunday, April 17^th to allow staff members to celebrate the Easter holiday.

No library materials will be due on a day that the libraries are closed for a holiday.
