The Klamath County Library Read-Along Group is an online group hosted by Klamath County librarian Amanda. It's a great way to fit a book club into your schedule with no meetings to attend! You can find the group's discussion page here (you'll need to make a free Goodreads account to post). This group focuses on American and British classics.
The Memoir Book Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm to discuss a variety of perspectives on the human condition: tales of humor, tragedy, persecution and triumph.
For more information, email Amanda at InterLibraryLoan@KlamathLibrary.org or call 541-882-8894. You can pick up your copy of the current title at the downtown library's Information and Reference Desk.
Book to Film meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm to watch films based on books and discuss both the book and the movie. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.
We'll be discussing Caging Skies by Christine Leunen and the book's Oscar-winning film adaptation, Jojo Rabbit, on Wednesday, January 26th at 5:30pm. (The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 1 hour, 48 minutes.)
The Adult Book Group meets on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30pm. Pick up your copy of the current title at the Reference and Information Desk.
